AI Translation Playground (DO NOT PUBLISH)

The subtree of pages of this page are only meant for experimentation with the AI Translation. See AI translation manual; there are several videos available, too, among them for the translation review tool. Please read the playground section of the manual before using the playground. 

This area can be used for experimenting how translations work, for introducing translation rules etc. When introducing translation rules, use the 'caconfig' page in within the playground, not the config page in the site, since that will apply to the playground only.

The following video shows how to use the new translation review tool. It is also contained in the manual.

It is now possible to use one of several AI language models for each language since there are several language models from several providers that are differently good depending on the language. As a first step we need to identify 2-3 models that seem to be best for language where the translation is not good enough. For that there is a test page where one can quickly try out how nicely different models work. Please feel free to try that out! Just try entering text that turned out to be difficult for the normally used model (gpt-4o) and try whether there are models that do a better job!

Note: please do not select gpt-4.5-preview but enter OpenAI:gpt-4.1 into the 'Additional models' field.
