5-Series DIASTAR Pneumatically Actuated Diaphragm Valves


The new Pneumatic Diaphragm Valves of GF Piping Systems represent a revolution in terms of safety, efficiency and simplicity.

Like the hand valves, the new DIASTAR also has a central union nut. This connection is non-corrosive, is temperature stable, and has a high pressure rating up to 240 PSI (for water use only).

Because of the doubled Cv values, the energy expenditure can be reduced considerably. At the same time, the flow characteristic is very linear and thus ideally suited for control applications.

Features like rotatable air connections and pre-tensioned spring-kits facilitate installation and maintenance enormously. The accessory interface allows simple integration into facility automation.


DIASTAR Six: The perfect solution when you need a cost-effective solution with a long working life for elastomer diaphragms up to PN 6 (6 bar). It combines a compact design and high quality construction with the basic functions of a pneumatic actuator.

DIASTAR Ten: Optimally suited for all standard applications up to PN10 (10 bar) and including an assortment of accessories. The DIASTAR Ten offers components needed to allow an easy integration into your existing plant requirements. It is also available with a PTFE diaphragm seal maximizing the cost-benefit ratio of the valve.

DIASTAR TenPlus: This actuator is ideally designed for high performance applications that require high closing forces. With the DIASTAR TenPlus line pressures up to PN10 (10 bar) on both sides of the diaphragm are possible. These valves are available in all body and seal material types; and therefore, offer maximum flexibility for your process requirements.

DIASTAR Sixteen: With the highest closure force in combination with the special housing guarantees secure control of line pressure up to DN16 (16 bar). The DIASTAR Sixteen offers an integrated accessory interface and maximum reliability in a Pneumatic Diaphragm Valve making it the best all-around performer.
