The Rudila Hydropower Station in Yunnan, southwest China, is a landmark water-supply project. VAG supplied the world’s largest single-piece RIKO® plunger valves, designed to meet high flow coefficient requirements when fully open. For the preparations of the 2022 Winter Olympics in Beijing, VAG supplied a large number of DUOJET and smart DUOJET‑I air valves along with other valve types for the 35 km long water supply pipelines in the Zhangjiakou Chongli District. These smart valves help prevent leaks and pipe breaks and continuously monitor operating conditions, providing real‑time data and early warnings to ensure a secure and uninterrupted water supply for the event and surrounding communities.

EKOplus Gate Valves

Resilient-seated gate valve with proven design by innovative technologies for low torques on wedge even after many years of use. Available with different connection options (flange or PE-ends) and different actuation possibilities, allowing flexible integration into system requirements.​

EKN Butterfly Valves

Energy-efficient, double-offset flanged butterfly valve (resilient-seated) suitable for the highest requirements, equipped with a patented hydro-dynamic disk, enlarged inner diameter and patented pressure compensation channels.

ZETA Knife Gate Valves

Resilient-seated knife-gate valve in fully flanged design, sealing in both flow directions, with integrated scraper system and free flow passage. Its robust construction ensures dependable performance even under demanding wastewater operating conditions. ​

RIKO Control Valves

Precise control valve with annular flow cross-section for the continuous regulation of high pressure differences and flow rates without cavitation. Long service life as the bearings do not come into contact with the medium. Wear-resistant, corrosion- and infiltration-proof guide rails due to hard-facing.

Duojet Air Valves

High-capacity, single-chamber air valve with triple function for venting and releasing air in pipelines as well as for releasing air during operation. Corrosion-proof due to stainless steel inner parts and float made of stainless steel. Safe and reliable operation even at high air-release velocities of up to sonic speed.

EROXplus Penstocks

Stainless steel shut-off and control valve with open or closed frame design for wall mounting. Featuring a specially developed, patented sealing system, which ensures high tightness and reliable performance in demanding wastewater and flood protection applications.

NOVA NIRO 365 Hydrant

Standpost hydrant with automatic, optimised double draining system and pressurised-water protection. The maintenance-free encapsulated stem bearing ensures long-term low operating forces and a completely encapsulated actuating system as regards hygiene; maximum corrosion protection through the use of stainless materials.

SKR Non-Return Valve

Metallic-sealing non-return valve with slanted seat for reducing the closing time and with specially shaped disk that supports the opening movement. The prerequisite for trouble-free operation is only a minimum flow velocity of 1.5 m/s in the customer's plant.
