Georg Fischer LLC, a world leader in thermoplastic piping systems and instrumentation, serving the microelectronics, water treatment, food and beverage, chemical processing, and life sciences/institutional market segments is seeking a highly motivated Automation Sales Manager to grow our instrumentation and actuated valves business in the North East. You will be responsible for promoting Georg Fischer Piping Systems by developing and maintaining relationships with key accounts and distributors.  Responsibilities also include creating and/or changing specifications with engineers, following key projects, promoting services, and maintaining a high level of focus on our products within the territory through OEM, Mechanical Contractors and End Users visits to achieve sales success.

The candidate will reside within North Eastern area.

Skill sets and qualifications include:

  • A degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years experience in a sales/sales management environment
  • Prefer sales experience in process automation
  • Understanding of a distributor-based sales channel and the dynamics of multiple, competing distributors in the same city

Area Sales Manager, Engineered Piping Systems

Georg Fischer LLC, a world leader in thermoplastic piping systems, is seeking a highly motivated Area Sales Manager to grow our engineered piping systems within the Northwest Territory:  Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Montana, Utah, Alaska and Hawaii.  You will be responsible for promoting GF Piping Systems by developing and maintaining relationships with key accounts, distributors, and representatives. Responsibilities also include creating and/or changing specifications with Engineers, following key projects, product job start-up education and maintaining a high level of focus on our products within the territory through OEM, Mechanical Contractors and End User visits.

The ideal candidate will reside within the Seattle or Portland area.

Skill sets and qualifications include:

  • A degree in engineering or equivalent experience with DI Water, Chemical Acid Waste, and Double Containment Piping Systems
  • 5+ years experience in a sales management environment
  • Prefer sales experience with industrial and plumbing distributor channels
  • General computer skills including Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Dynamics (CRM), and SharePoint

Area Sales Manager, Pre-Insulated Piping

Georg Fischer LLC, a world leader in plastic piping systems, is seeking a highly motivated Area Sales Manager to grow our pre-insulated applications (COOL-FIT® / Freeze Prevention) business in the North Central Territory.

The candidate will ideally reside within the Greater Chicago Area.

Principle Responsibilities:

  • Develop plan and achieve target revenue through execution of GF sales process and strategies for GF pre-insulated products
  • Promote GF Piping Systems and associated products by developing and maintaining relationships with key accounts, distributors, and representatives and represent GF at trade shows and industry events.
  • Network with members and attend ASHRAE and ASPE chapter meetings and events.
  • Create and/or change specifications with Engineers, OEMs, Contractors and End Users to achieve sales success.
  • Respond to and prepare proposals, estimates and quotes.
  • Provide education and on-site training to Consulting Engineers, Municipal Engineers, Contractors and Distributors.
  • Create brand awareness with new products and analyze new business opportunities.

Skill sets and qualifications include:

  • University Degree in Engineering or equivalent experience with piping systems in industrial or commercial applications
  • 5 -7 years account management experience with HVAC and plumbing distributor channels
  • Skilled at identifying and qualifying opportunities, presenting the company’s value proposition and closing sales in a competitive market segment
  • Demonstrated success in analyzing problems and developing appropriate solutions for customer needs
  • Strong customer focus and able to engage and influence external stakeholders
  • Excellent communication, relationship building and interpersonal skills
  • Must be able to communicate and present technical information clearly to all audiences
  • Positive attitude and team focused

Sales Engineer Atlanta

Georg Fischer LLC, a world leader in plastic piping systems, is seeking a highly motivated Sales Engineer or Piping System Specialist to join our dynamic and innovative team for our business in the Southeast USA Territory: Georgia, Florida, Carolinas, Tennessee, Mississippi, and Alabama.  As a key member of Technical Sales, you will be responsible for executing the promotion of GF piping systems within your region and developing (or maintaining) your reputation as an expert in the building services industry.  By leveraging your superior customer service abilities, your experience and technical know-how, you will continue to foster and build positive connections with engineers, contractors, and plumbing code officials. This is an exciting position which involves substantial interactions with stakeholders and frequent travel within the region and greater USA.

Principle Responsibilities:

  • Promote GF Piping Systems and associated products with design engineers and incorporate these into corporate and project specifications.
  • Provide formal and informal technical education and on-site training to Consulting Engineers, Municipal Engineers, Contractors and Distributors regarding GF products.
  • Actively participate in key industry organizations such as ASPE, ASME, and ASHRAE.
  • Create brand awareness with new products and analyze new business opportunities.
  • Create education, training, and technical materials for GF Piping Systems.
  • Review product complaints and co-ordinate analysis and response.

Skill sets and qualifications include:

  • Certified Plumbing Designer (CPD) and/or University Degree in Engineering required
  • Professional Engineer (PE) designation preferred
  • 5 -7 years of experience in technical sales or piping design
  • Experience with potable water and/or piping systems including hydraulic theory and design considered an asset
  • Demonstrated success in analyzing problems and developing appropriate solutions for customer needs
  • Experience in developing product standards considered an asset

Georg Fischer Piping Systems is seeking a highly motivated Senior Financial Analyst to support the CFO/COO of Business Unit - Americas.  This position provides an opportunity to become immediately involved in the business with great exposure to senior management.

Your main responsibilities will include preparing timely consolidated financial reports and analytics on business performance for review by the leadership team.  In addition, this role will assist in driving both financial and operational best practices through each of our 13 locations and 10 businesses in North and South America.  This will be done through the combination of lean tools and the development of KPI’s for operational performance, policies & procedures, and internal controls.

Skill sets and qualifications include:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or Finance. CPA, CMA, or MBA preferred with 5 years working experience
  • Strong verbal and written communication and presentation skills including analytical and interpersonal skills
  • Strong proficiency in IT skills (MS Office, SAP, Cognos, MS Office)
  • Manufacturing industry experience is a plus
  • Able to plan time, manage reporting deadline, and multi-task
  • Ability to work in an internation environment
