You will be responsible for promoting Georg Fischer Piping Systems by developing and maintaining relationships with key accounts and distributors.  Responsibilities also include creating and/or changing specifications with engineers, following key projects, promoting services, and maintaining a high level of focus on our products within the territory through OEM, Mechanical Contractors and End Users visits to achieve sales success.

Skill sets include the following:

Georg Fischer LLC, a world leader in thermoplastic piping systems, is seeking a highly motivated Area Sales Manager to grow our engineered piping systems within the Northwest Territory:  Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Montana, Utah, Alaska and Hawaii.  You will be responsible for promoting GF Piping Systems by developing and maintaining relationships with key accounts, distributors, and representatives. Responsibilities also include creating and/or changing specifications with Engineers, following key projects, product job start-up education and maintaining a high level of focus on our products within the territory through OEM, Mechanical Contractors and End User visits.

The ideal candidate will reside within the Seattle or Portland area.

Skill sets and qualifications include:

  • A degree in engineering or equivalent experience with DI Water, Chemical Acid Waste, and Double Containment Piping Systems
  • 5+ years experience in a sales management environment
  • Prefer sales experience with industrial and plumbing distributor channels

Estimator, Building Technologies

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following (note: other duties may be assigned):

  • Manage all take-off requests
  • Perform detailed takeoffs on conceptual / preliminary drawings
  • Communicate take-off and the related costs
  • Ensure proper service with accurate and timely preparation of estimates, involving coordination with other departments
  • Responds to customers/sales need on a timely basis
  • Initiate appropriate correspondence with the customer, in order to clarify vague or ambiguous statements or specifications, prior to finalizing take-off and pricing
  • Take on special projects as assigned

Skill sets and qualifications include:

  • Associate Degree is preferred
  • Experience in commercial plumbing estimation is required
  • Excellent communications, writing and presentation skills
  • Able to prepare submittals
  • Strong communication skills, attention to details and accuracy

Fabricator Assembler

The Fabricator Assembler position is responsible for day to day activities in the Warehouse & on the production floor.

Skill sets and qualifications include:

  • High School diploma
  • Ability to read prints and dimensions
  • Assembly experience (piping, assembly, skid assembly)
  • Fabrication experience, (good with hand tools) & machinery IE manual lath & Mill
  • Welding of plastics experience a plus, (hot air welding)
  • Detail oriented and focused on quality
  • Experience with saws, drills, presses, grinders, measuring tools, etc.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills must be able to understand and follow oral and written procedures, instructions. Communicate effectively with others.
  • Ability to effectively work with quality control and logistics groups
  • Custom woodwork/cabinetry a plus

We are looking for an experienced Inside Sales Manager to oversee and support our inside sales representatives team. The Inside Sales Manager will monitor sales metrics and manage the entire sales administration process. They will collaborate with various professionals, so it is essential that they have excellent communication skills and feel comfortable working in a team environment. They should also be able to lead and motivate the sales team to achieve goals. Ultimately, the Inside Sales Manager should be able to build a high-performance sales team to ensure customers satisfaction.

  • BS/BA degree or equivalent experience required
  • 3-5 years in a related product or industry preferred

Senior Financial Analyst

Delivery of the products – whether fittings, valves, measurement and control technology, pipes or jointing technologies – is always fast, flexible and dependable.

Georg Fischer Piping Systems is seeking a highly motivated Senior Financial Analyst to support the CFO/COO of Business Unit - Americas.  This position provides an opportunity to become immediately involved in the business with great exposure to senior management.

Your main responsibilities will include preparing timely consolidated financial reports and analytics on business performance for review by the leadership team.  In addition, this role will assist in driving both financial and operational best practices through each of our 13 locations and 10 businesses in North and South America.  This will be done through the combination of lean tools and the development of KPI’s for operational performance, policies & procedures, and internal controls.

Our ideal candidate will have the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting or Finance
  • CPA, CMA, or MBA preferred with five years working experience
  • Strong verbal and written communication and presentation skills, including analytical and interpersonal skills
  • Strong proficiency in IT skills (MS Office, SAP, Cognos, MS Office)
  • Manufacturing industry experience is a plus
  • Able to plan time, manage reporting deadline and multi-task
  • Ability to work in an international environment
