GF has developed the Butterfly Valve 565, a thermoplastic valve constructed from advanced polymeric materials designed for high corrosion resistance and long-term mechanical stability. To address these issues, a two-year field trial was carried out at a working desalination facility operated by Pilot plant of WTIIRA, located in Jubail City to validate its performance. The valves were installed under standard operational conditions and remained in continuous use for the whole trial duration.
