Gareth brings over 25 years of international experience across infrastructure, utilities, and industrial sectors, underpinned by a strong technical and commercial background.

Following his formal education in Mechanical Engineering, Gareth began his career with the Gas-Arc Group, UK, part of the ESAB Corporation, where he spent 20 years developing expertise in industrial, high-purity, specialties and medical integrated gas control solutions sectors.

In 2019, he joined AVK and later became Group Commercial Director with Fusion Group Limited (an AVK Group company), where he led commercial, sales, and operational teams across the UK, Europe, Middle East, Africa, Central Asia and South America, while also overseeing global marketing and product management.

His proven leadership, deep market insight, and customer-focused mindset position him to lead GF in maintaining our continued focus on innovation, reliability, and sustainable growth.

David Outhwaite is Finance Director of George Fischer Sales Limited in the UK and has worked for GF companies since 2005. He started his current role in December 2013, but assumed responsibility for operations in addition to his finance responsibilities in April 2020. Prior to December 2013, David was Chief Finance Officer of GF Machining Solutions Ltd in the UK from May 2005. Before joining GF, he worked in a number of different finance roles in practice, manufacturing and retail.

David qualified as a Chartered Accountant (ICAEW) in 1991 having previously studied for a degree in Geophysics and Planetary Physics at Newcastle University. He was born in Stockton on Tees, UK in 1966 (shortly after England last won the World Cup).

As of 1 July 2024, Daniel Bewg joined the GF family as Director of Sales and Marketing for GF Industry and Infrastructure Flow Solutions UK and Ireland. 

Daniel brings extensive experience in engineering companies, offering products, projects, and bespoke OEM solutions. His career spans various senior sales roles both overseas and in the UK. Most recently, he served as the Business Development and Marketing Director for the H+E Group, focusing on the water treatment sector.

Starting his career at 16, Daniel completed a four-year apprenticeship and went on to earn a bachelor’s degree in production engineering from the University of Hertfordshire in 1995. Residing in Colchester, Daniel is an avid golfer and skier, and enjoys building and tinkering with kit cars in his leisure time.
