FAQs

What types of chemicals can GF polymer piping systems handle?

GF offers a wide range of chemically resistant polymers, including PVDF, PROGEF (PP-H), PE100-RC, and PVC. These materials are suitable for aggressive acids (e.g. hydrofluoric, sulfuric), solvents (e.g. IPA, acetone), oxidizers, and metal-laden waste. What is the maximum operating temperature and pressure for your systems?

Operating limits depend on the material and system design. PVDF systems typically handle continuous operation up to +90°C at pressures up to PN16 (232 psi). PP and PE systems are suitable for slightly lower temperatures. For exact parameters, refer to our material datasheets or consult our engineering team.

How do your systems ensure leak-free performance in critical areas?


GF systems use fusion-welding technologies such as infrared (IR), bead and crevice-free (BCF), and electrofusion, creating 100% leak-tight joints. These methods eliminate weak points typical of mechanical connections, reduce maintenance needs, and are compliant with DVS and ISO welding standards.
