GF Annual Shareholders' Meeting 2023: Participation of shareholders possible again
For the first time in four years, the Annual Shareholders' Meeting of Georg Fischer AG will again be held at the IWC Arena in Schaffhausen (Switzerland). As in the past, several hundred shareholders are expected to attend the event on 19 April 2023.
After more than 1'000 people attended in 2019, the GF Annual Shareholders' Meetings in 2020 to 2022 were limited to the agenda items required by law and the Articles of Association. This restriction was due to the Federal Council COVID-19 regulations, which made it impossible for shareholders to be physically present.
Now GF is returning to holding a public event. The event at the IWC Arena will start at 3:00 p.m. on 19 April 2023 and is expected to last about two hours. As previously communicated, the agenda includes the election of Michelle Wen and Monica de Virgiliis to the GF Board of Directors. A snack will be served at the end.
"We are pleased to be able to hold this event again with the successful setup of the previous years. It was and it is very important to us to have a personal exchange with our shareholders once a year," says Yves Serra, Chairman of the GF Board of Directors.
The voting documents will be sent out on 21 March 2023.
