GF Piping Systems further expands its global network of prefabrication workshops
The joint venture business between GF Piping Systems and Corys provides the most complex construction projects in the Middle East with engineering design assistance and offsite prefabrication capabilities.
On 3 June 2021, the GF Corys Fabrication Workshop in Abu Dhabi, the first customizing and prefabrication facility in the Middle East region, was officially inaugurated. GF Group CEO Andreas Mueller, together with GF Piping Systems Division President Joost Geginat and Mohammed Abdulghaffar Hussain, the owner of Corys Group, welcomed H.E. Massimo Baggi, Ambassador of Switzerland, to the United Arab Emirates and Bahrain to the official opening.
The joint venture business between GF Piping Systems and Corys will deliver best-in-class, sustainable solutions, on time, everywhere in the region. GF now operates prefabrication workshops in 11 countries to increase its proximity to customers and help them overcome time constraints, cost overruns, physical space limitations, and quality concerns on the job site. The designs of projects to be fulfilled in these workshops are previously approved by the three engineering offices that complement the network.
"Our global network of prefabrication workshops has engineered and delivered more than 1200 projects in the last year and created over 400 new solutions with associated quality assurances to answer the demand from our customers," said GF Piping Systems' President Joost Geginat. So whether that project is related to data centers, water treatment, or even microelectronics, where cleanroom technology is required, we are ready when you are."
