As of 1st January 2022, Rachel Greasby has joined GF as Managing Director of GF Piping Systems UK and Ireland. Rachel takes over the position from Richard Trevaskis who moved to Head of Global Industries.

Rachel Greasby has comprehensive experience in leadership, marketing and sales and P&L roles in the United Kingdom as well as the EMEA region. In previous roles Rachel has increased the revenue and profitability of the company by focusing strongly on customer relationships and building new business opportunities.

Rachel has held various managing positions at different divisions of Illinois Tool Works, during her 26 years with the business, her last being as Strategic Marketing Director for their Additives International division.

Rachel holds a Bachelor's Degree in Manufacturing Engineering from Coventry University. Rachel is from Ireland originally and moved to the UK when she took up her studies at Coventry University in 1988.


David Outhwaite is Finance Director of George Fischer Sales Limited in the UK and has worked for GF companies since 2005. He started his current role in December 2013, but assumed responsibility for operations in addition to his finance responsibilities in April 2020. Prior to December 2013, David was Chief Finance Officer of GF Machining Solutions Ltd in the UK from May 2005. Before joining GF, he worked in a number of different finance roles in practice, manufacturing and retail.

David qualified as a Chartered Accountant (ICAEW) in 1991 having previously studied for a degree in Geophysics and Planetary Physics at Newcastle University. He was born in Stockton on Tees, UK in 1966 (shortly after England last won the World Cup).
