GF Piping Systems at BrauBeviale 2023: COOL-FIT piping system for the energy-efficient beverage production

20/11/2023 - 17:00 (British Time)

GF Piping Systems will show its product range tailored to meet the unique needs of businesses in the beverage industry at the BrauBeviale 2023 in Nuremberg from November 28 to 30. At the international trade fair for sustainable solutions along the entire beverage production process chain, the globally active piping specialist GF will be showcasing in Hall 9 at Stand 312. Together with its partners TRANE ROGGENKAMP and ITG-Süd, they will present their solutions for safe, energy-efficient brewing technology, like the pre-insulated COOL-FIT system.

Increasing cost pressure in the beverage industry means that more and more companies are facing the challenge of the need to fundamentally modernize their production processes. With regard to the future viability of beverage production and the opportunities for optimizing new and existing plants through automation, plastic pipe systems are an interesting option. At the trade fair, breweries can talk to GF experts about the advantages of these solutions, for example in use in controlled fermentation and maturing processes, climate-controlled storage, production plant operation and water treatment. GF Piping Systems will focus on presenting the factory pre-insulated COOL-FIT, which has already been used successfully for years in breweries around the world - e.g. in countries such as Germany, Switzerland, the USA and Australia.

The innovative 3-in-1 design - consisting of media pipe, insulation and outer jacket - in combination with the intuitive electrofusion technology, halves the installation time and thus reduces labor and personnel costs. If the environmental and energy balance of the plastic pipes is also compared using a life cycle assessment, the CO2 balance of the solution is more favorable than with conventional metal systems. The PE pipe system on show at BrauBeviale is safe, leak-proof and virtually maintenance-free over a calculated service life of at least 25 years. The lower weight reduces the need for structural adjustments on site and facilitates transportation. Installation in just one trade leads to significant time savings on projects.

Kevin Blumberg, Senior Business Development Manager Cooling, explains: "GF Piping Systems is one of the leading complete solution providers with extensive consulting expertise that breweries can rely on as a contact partner during all project phases. Our COOL-FIT is a state-of-the-art pre-insulated piping system that reliably stands for durability, sustainability, and easy installation without major downtimes. Our product is designed to meet the needs of the beverage industry - it combines the opportunity for significant energy and cost savings with an easy-to-clean, compact design for the production environment."
