The Electro-pneumatic Positioner was tuned and tested with the Pneumatic Actuator and the Ball Valve 546 Pro. Thanks to the perfect alignment, precise flow control becomes simple. Additionally, an auto-tune function ensures quick commissioning. The Pneumatic Actuator and the Electro-pneumatic Positioner are also available for diaphragm valves type DIASTAR.
Even in highly corrosive environments, there are no maintenance requirements for GF Piping Systems newest Pneumatic Actuator. This reduces the renewal and planning requirements of the site for at least 25 years and simplifies future tasks. The Pneumatic Actuator is designed to achieve a minimum of 250.000 cycles and to work smoothly, even after long periods without operation.
This actuator has a high-performance plastic housing and is more lightweight than earlier models. Compared to metal actuators, the low weight reduces static demands and increases piping system options.

The actuator provides an ideal installation design by reducing unnecessary weight and space usage. Our pneumatic actuators are engineered to offer the right balance between torque and compressed air supply for systems 4.2 bar and 5.6 bar without compromising safety.

Communication interfaces like PROFINET and EtherNet/IP, and analog and binary feedback ensure state-of-the art integration standards and will lead the way to a digital and process data driven future.
Solenoid pilot valves are used to open and close pneumatic actuated valves by pilot controlling the pneumatic actuators. With these, it is possible to switch large valves with low power and less compressed air, as only a small coil needs to be energized and a small working chamber is filled with compressed air.
