COOL-FIT 2.0

The coronavirus brought with it an unforeseen need for face masks. The textile coating company SENFA in Sélestat, Alsace, France, was equipped with the optimal expertise to produce masks. In a very short time, the necessary machines for the production of the material for fabric masks were ordered. However, as the production halls became too hot in summer with the many machines, the infrastructure had to be adapted. A new cooling center with ceiling fans, compatible with the COOl-FIT system from GF Industry and Infrastructure Flow Solutions, was able to remedy the situation

Following a change of ownership, the printing plant expanded its conditioning of the production hall is decisive for high print quality: If the printing rollers heat up excessively, the ink liquefies too much and runs. If the air humidity is too high, the printing paper quenches and warps. Production at the company takes place around the clock, five to six days a week, depending on capacity utilization. Therefore, the new cooling solution had to be installed as quickly as possible.
