SEMICON Taiwan 2022: GF Piping Systems to show complete solutions for the semiconductor industry
The SEMICON trade fair in Taiwan is the most influential semiconductor event in the world and aims to lead technology trends, innovation, and collaboration. Between September 14 and 16, GF Piping Systems will use SEMICON 2022 as a platform introduce new off-site prefabrication capabilities, show complete solutions for process automation, and demonstrate specialized products such as ultrasonic non-destructive testing.
Within a market that is becoming more and more competitive, the semiconductor industry relies on suppliers to provide technology that makes manufacturing efficient, safe, and reliable. This particularly applies to the piping systems that transport anything from chemicals to process water. At SEMICON 2022, Swiss flow solutions provider GF Piping Systems will introduce new offsite prefabrication capabilities at OSM Taiwan for plastic piping components. It is a customer-oriented answer to overcome challenges such as shortages of skilled labor, time constraints, cost overruns, quality concerns, and space limitations on construction sites. The facility is the newest of GF Piping Systems’ prefabrication sites, one of more than a dozen in total with the same standards around the world.
In addition, GF Piping Systems will show a wide range of products that allow manufacturers to automate their production processes. The Ball Valves 546 Pro and 543 Pro are designed for mixing and distribution processes and can be paired with electric and pneumatic actuators as well as electro-pneumatic positioners. GF Piping Systems will also showcase its zero dead leg and completely corrosion-free PVDF T-Diaphragm Valve 519 engineered for ultra pure water production. Furthermore, the company will demonstrate ultrasonic non-destructive testing which allows pipe welds to be efficiently analyzed on-site.
