GF and VAG Group: Now one team creating more value for customers and partners

20/11/2025 - 12:00 PM (Gulf Time)

GF has completed its acquisition of VAG-Group, Mannheim (Germany), a renowned global manufacturer of metal valves for water and infrastructure applications. Through this acquisition, GF will deliver more integrated, high-performance Flow Solutions — for the benefit of GF’s existing and future industry and infrastructure customers.

Building a more complete offering for customers and partners

By bringing VAG’s strong valve technologies into its portfolio, GF rounds up its portfolio to infrastructure, water utilities, industrial and building technology customers. They can rely on a single-source partner with a strong engineering, manufacturing and service backbone. Key advantages include:

  • End-to-end Flow Solutions from one partner
GF can now offer a complete range of solutions including pipes, fittings, valves, connection systems, stormwater management, and repair technologies. Customers benefit from fewer suppliers, simplified logistics and better system compatibility.
  • Stronger technical depth and innovation capacity
VAG brings decades of expertise in metal valves (gate, butterfly, control, check, air valves) used in critical infrastructure such as water networks, dams, hydrants, desalination and power plants. GF customers gain access to advanced valve solutions and deeper engineering support than ever before.
  • Improved reliability, performance, and longevity
Metal valves are crucial for durable, resilient utility networks. With VAG’s heritage in highreliability valve manufacturing, GF can now offer customers more robust systems with reduced downtime, maintenance costs and leakage risk.
  • Faster project execution and local support
VAG’s existing global footprint across Europe, Americas, Middle East and Asia means improved delivery times, stronger local presence and improved service support.
  • Innovation synergies & sustainability
VAG’s commitment to sustainable innovation aligns with GF’s strategy. The combined R&D capabilities will enable the development of next-generation valve and flow management solutions designed for water loss mitigation, smarter control and lower energy consumption.

GF has closed the transaction and integrated VAG into its Industry & Infrastructure Flow Solutions’ division as of 1 October 2025.
