Reliable systems for sustainable processes

Mushroom Farm: Champinter, Spain

Founded in 1977, Champinter Soc. Cooperativa is a mushroom production and processing cooperative located in Villamalea in the Albacete region of Spain. Champinter was looking to expand its facilities and needed a new piping system for the cooling of the pasteurization and production chambers – one which met the strict temperature and humidity requirements of high-quality mushroom cultivation.

Winery: Zonzo Estate, Australia

Perseverance and devotion to restore the Estate’s rich winemaking past has led to Zonzo’s production of premium wines including Yarra Valley’s famous Chardonnay and Pinot Noir. The timescale was tight: all equipment had to be fully installed and commissioned in time for the 2019 wine harvest, so that it could be used to produce the 2019 vintage. The cooling circuit, customdesigned for the project, uses a mixture of glycol and water, circulating at a temperature of –5°C and 4 bar of pressure and is supported by 200 kW of chiller capacity. The glycol circuit is the main pipe run for the winery production for white and red wine.


Brewery: Geilings Bräu, Germany

Currently, Geilings Bräu already produces around 800 hectoliters of beer annually. In the future, the brewery plans to further increase its range of beer types, which makes the logistics increasingly demanding. The required new piping system should flexibly accommodate future expansions and be easy and quick to install, as the brewery often handles installations itself and operations can only be interrupted briefly.

Food manufacturing: Bischofszell Nahrungsmittel AG, Switzerland

The Swiss Bischofszell Nahrungsmittel (BINA) is a leading manufacturer of convenience and fruit products as well as instant meals and beverages for retailers, industry, bulk consumers, and export. Its operation poses the highest demands on the cooling system – to keep the cooling chain of the foods intact at all times, pipes carry a glycol mixture. With the COOL-FIT 4.0 system, the food manufacturer has now modernized its cooling system during ongoing operation.

Bakery: Büsch, Germany

With over 30 years of experience in the craft of baking, the BÜSCH bakery is now known far beyond its location on the Lower Rhine. The quality products are delivered to more than 200 BÜSCH’s own branches in the region around Kamp-Lintfort. In 2020, the owner wanted to replace the existing refrigeration system in the production facility without interupting operations. The pre-insulated PE piping system COOL-FIT 4.0 proved to be a winning solution.

Supermarket: Porta Samedan shopping mall, Switzerland

The vacation region Engadin is home to the new "Porta Samedan" shopping mall with the Minergie-P standard label. In realizing the project, nothing was more important than sustainability. The owners champion the use of renewable energy sources and sustainable building materials such as the COOL-FIT pre-insulated plastic piping system.

Brewery: Erusbacher & Paul, Switzerland

The Erusbacher & Paul brewery, founded in 2000 and based in Villmergen, has eight employees who produce a total of 16 different types of beer and about 6,000 hectoliters of beer each year. The company was looking for an efficient, hygienic, and visually appealing pipe cooling system for its new building. The pre-insulated COOLFIT system from GF Piping Systems won the company over, thanks to its fast and simple installation, robustness, and ease of cleaning.

Winery: Zimmermann-Graeff & Müller, Germany

Based in Zell an der Mosel, the Zimmermann-Graeff & Müller (ZGM) winery is one of the best in Germany. National and international customers appreciate the high quality of the products. In 2019, the operators decided to further expand the production capacity with additional modern tanks for wine production as part of a new building. For their cold water supply, the winning solution was the factory pre-insulated PE piping system COOL-FIT, which could be installed in one trade and and is very resistant thanks to the robust insulation and outer pipe jacket.
