The growing demand for plant automation means that even valves which are isolated or not accessible for a compressed air system have to be automated. Ball valves or butterfly valves as an alternative are not suitable for every process. The electric diaphragm valve allows the introduction of quick, low cost, and simple automation in plants in which compressed air is not available for pneumatic actuators and retrofitting would be too expensive – a simply power connection and control signals are enough. Its variety of interfaces facilitates integration into your process control systems.
The electric diaphragm valve e-Diastar allows simple automation without compressed air. Benefit from short downtimes thanks to fast and easy reinstallation or retrofitting of manual diaphragm valves and lower maintenance costs. Please contact us, our energy experts will be glad to advise you.
Automation without compressed air
The electric diaphragm valve e-Diastar allows quick and simple automation of plants that do not contain a compressed air system or in which it could not be installed with reasonable effort. Existing manual diaphragm valves can be retrofitted easily without disassembly.
100 % reliable
The electric diaphragm valve is based on the successful manual diaphragm valve from GF Piping Systems, which has been an established standard for aggressive and abrasive media for the past ten years in more than 100 countries. Thanks to the all-plastic design, it is less maintenance-intensive than conventional models.
Fast, simple installation
The valve and housing are significantly lighter than solutions with metal actuators placed on the valve and thus require no additional supports and static adjustments. The actuator can be retrofitted on existing diaphragm valves from GF Piping Systems without any additional expenditure.
Easy system integration
Profibus and Modbus allow easy and fast integration into the process control system. Analogue interfaces are available as an alternative. An integrated reset unit in case of a power failure and a positioner for continuous control are available as accessories.
100 % self-cleaning
Thanks to its design and high-precision production, the electric diaphragm valve has no dead spaces but always rinses itself. Thus, it always remains free free of debris and ensures a constant and reliable process even with high-particle media.
