Fusion and Jointing

An engineer or contractor can combine the benefits of the FUSEAL® electrofusion joint and the mechanical joint in a single system. FUSEAL® can be used in inaccessible areas: The Fast-Lock™ mechanical joint works well under benches, where speed of installation or future disassembly is needed. One lightweight welding machine can do all that is required on-site.

Above-ground Applications

In above ground installations, the pigmentation protects the system from sunlight. FUSEAL® is highly resistant to ultraviolet radiation and is heat-stabilised to provide long life while handling hot reagents.

Fuseal® Case Study | Fast-Lock™ Mechanical Joint PP Corrosive Waste

The Fuseal® Fast-Lock™ Mechanical Joint Polypropylene system from GF Piping Systems is ideal for harsh corrosive waste applications. Fast-Lock™ goes together quickly with a simple socket set or cordless screwdriver. Unlike solvent cement systems, there is no need to wait for cure times before pressure testing or fumes to deal with. If changes in design happen real-time, the system can be reconfigured without having to cut fittings out. This video illustrates an example installation at a laboratory.
