Much of the strong foundation of Georg Fischer DEKA is the result of our own vocational training program. We understand vocational training to be a long-term, essential prerequisite to ensure the company’s existence and growth in all areas and functions.
It is intentional when an employee speaks of “his company” and thus expresses his identification with the company. Georg Fischer DEKA offers vocational training in the commercial field as industrial clerk and as merchant in wholesale and foreign trade focusing on foreign trade.
In the industrial / technical field, Georg Fischer DEKA, in collaboration with three other plastics processing companies in the area, in 1976 founded an initiative for the collaborative vocational training of plastics technicians.
Still today Georg Fischer DEKA is highly committed to the training of
process mechanics for plastics and rubber technology.
In the near future, our commitment will intensify as the technical challenges and objectives demand us to do so.
The extensive commitment of the Hinterland plastics processing companies and the class of the vocational training college that participated in the training as process mechanics for plastics and rubber technology, was awarded in 1996 in Bonn with the German “Initiativpreis für Aus- und Weiterbildung” (initiative award for training and further education). You may find more information regarding vocational training for this exciting profession on the website of the “Gesamtverband der kunststoffverarbeitenden Industrie (GKV)” (Association of the Plastics Processing Industry) www.gkv.de.
