Valve Sizing Tool

This tool helps you choosing the right size pressure regulator for your application. Select the type of valve you need , type in your process parameters and then you can chose different valve sizes to bring the operating within an optimum range.

If the operating point is in the yellow section, please select smaller size valve.

If there is no operating point in the graph, please check if flow rate is within range of selected valve and pressure is in line with pressure range selection.

Valve Information

Reducing Valve Type 582: Reduces a higher inlet pressure to a defined constant outlet pressure.
Retaining Valve Type 586: Maintains a constant inlet pressure at fluctuating system pressure
Select the dimension you would use for the valve to match the pipe without any reductions.
Standard Set Range is 0.5 - 9 bar (7-130 psi). For more sensitivity in lower pressure ranges select 0.3 - 3 bar (4-44 psi).
Select between metric or imperial system.
